Subscribe to the governance calendar

Get the phases of the one-pagers you own — cascade deadlines, evaluation weeks, review dates — into Outlook, Google Calendar or your phone

The Strategy Governance calendar plans the year: when each level cascades, when it evaluates, when the strategy review takes place. You do not need to open Alaigned to know what is due — subscribe your own calendar to it once and it follows every change on its own.

What you get

  • As a one-pager owner: one all-day event for each phase of the levels you own one-pagers on — for example Cascade deadline · L2 · Q3 2026 and Evaluate your one-pagers · L2 · Q3 2026 — plus every Strategy review. If you own a company one-pager, you also get the Update the company one-pager · L0 · Q3 2026 and Anchor: company one-pager approved · Q3 2026 events. Each cascade and evaluation event lists your one-pagers at that level, with links.
  • With Strategy Governance management: every phase of every level, custom phases included.

When a review date is moved, or the next period is started, your calendar updates on its next refresh (Outlook about every 3 hours; Google Calendar can take up to a day). You never re-import anything.

The calendar is available to the people who can view Strategy Governance. If you do not see the Calendar card in your account settings, ask your administrator. Where your organization requires two-factor authentication, the card appears once you have set it up.

Subscribe

  1. Open Account settings from your profile menu and find the Calendar card, or click Subscribe in the Strategy Governance header, or Subscribe to the calendar in a one-pager's Governance tab.
  2. Click Copy to copy your personal calendar address.
  3. Add it to your calendar:
    • Outlook (web): Add calendar → Subscribe from web, paste the address, name it, Import.
    • Outlook (desktop): File → Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New, paste the address.
    • Google Calendar: next to Other calendars click + → From URL, paste the address, Add calendar.
    • Apple Calendar: File → New Calendar Subscription, paste the address.

Your phone shows the calendar as soon as it syncs with Outlook or Google.

Keep the address to yourself

The address is personal: anyone who has it sees your governance dates. If you shared it by mistake, open Account settings, and in the Calendar card click Regenerate — the old address stops working and you subscribe again with the new one. Remove switches the calendar off entirely; Create calendar URL brings it back with a new address.

Under the address, Last fetched shows when your calendar last picked it up, so you can see the subscription works. Until then it reads Not fetched yet.

If your organization blocks calendar subscriptions

Some organizations do not allow subscribed calendars. Click Download the file instead and import the .ics file into your calendar. An imported file does not follow later changes — download it again after the next period is started or dates are moved.
