Cheers!
🎵 Version twelve is here to stay,
With timelines, versions, and approvals all the way!
Your notifications flow, your strategies grow—hooray! 🎵
✨ New Features
-
Strategy versioning: Create and manage multiple versions of your strategy simultaneously with the new version selector dropdown. Admins can create, rename, activate, and delete versions from a centralized admin tab, with all changes tracked in the audit log and team notifications sent when versions are activated.
-
Initiative timing: Add start and end dates to initiatives using month/year (MM/YY) format with a convenient month picker in edit mode. Timing displays as a compact label across all views including detail modals and print layouts.
-
One-pager approval workflow: Track one-pagers through four lifecycle states (Not started, In progress, Pending approval, Approved) with color-coded badges throughout the interface. Request approval with advisory validation that shows helpful suggestions but never blocks workflow, and admins can use the new Approvals tab to approve or revoke approval for individual one-pagers or entire subtrees. All status transitions are logged to the audit log with full attribution. Read more
-
Notification system: Complete notification infrastructure records all activities on one-pagers you own or follow, including content changes, comments, pending propagations, and ownership transfers. Notifications are stored for 90 days with automatic cleanup, and you'll receive a consolidated daily email digest each morning summarizing all activity from the previous day, grouped by one-pager with direct links to each affected item.
-
User deletion with ownership transfer: Admins can delete users who own one-pagers by first reassigning ownership through an intuitive transfer dialog with bulk selection and individual override options. Users are soft-deleted (anonymized and disabled) to preserve audit history and prevent broken references.
-
User profile access: All users can view teammate profiles (name, email, roles) by clicking avatars throughout the application. Non-admin users can edit their own first and last name through an inline form on their profile page.
-
Review status visibility restriction: Review statuses (semaphores) are now only visible to one-pager owners and admins. Owners can view and edit the statuses on their entire subtree and view (but not edit) their superior review statuses.
-
Drag and drop initiatives between pillars: Rearrange initiatives across different pillars by dragging them in edit mode, dramatically speeding up strategic restructuring. The system prevents moving cascaded initiatives which must be updated at their source.
-
Focus and highlight via URL: Share direct links to specific elements. This scrolls to and highlights pillars, initiatives, enablers, or company values. Propagation links in the Changes tab now automatically include this parameter for instant navigation.
-
Improved cascade badges: Cascade badges on pillar headers now display both the parent pillar name and source initiative name (e.g., "AI Leadership: New product portfolio for AI"), with space for up to two lines of text and better positioning to prevent clipping.
🔧 Improvements
-
Streaming AI responses: AI chat responses now stream token-by-token as generated, eliminating long waits with no feedback.
-
Print view alignment: Pillar sections now align horizontally using CSS subgrid, so titles, success definitions, and initiative cards line up perfectly across columns regardless of content length.
-
Consistent terminology: All user-facing text now uses "one-pager" and "one-pagers" (lowercase 'p') consistently throughout the application.
🎨 UI/UX Enhancements
- Improved scrolling and visibility: Tag filter dropdown now scrolls when there are many tags, pillar scroll arrows use sticky positioning to stay visible, and semaphore tooltips display fully without clipping in view mode.
